Accessibility Notes

Below are some notes about using some of the accessibility features.

Using this program with a screen reader

• The modules will work with JAWS (version 4.5 or above).

• The modules require the Adobe Flash Player (version 6 or above). Make sure your screen reader has not disabled Flash.
• The modules are fully-narrated Flash applications. We recommend keeping the narration on for the best experience.
• To tab or arrow through the navigation elements of a page, you need to have the Virtual PC Cursor turned off. The quick key for turning the Virtual PC Cursor on or off (toggle) is Insert+z.
• If you do have the narration off, follow these steps to hear the content of a page through the screen reader: (1) Turn the Virtual PC Cursor on. The quick key for turning the Virtual PC Cursor on or off (toggle) is Insert+z. (2) Start the content from the beginning. The quick keys for starting the content from the beginning are Ctrl+Home followed by Insert+down arrow. When the content of a page is finished, you will hear “Page end”.
